IIW and EWF operate based on an agreement to offer the welding community a combined system for qualification and certification. As such, they use the same rules and guidelines to provide services, and the whole combined system is administered by EWF.
However, members of EWF may offer qualifications that are designed for the European market and are not available as IIW products. See European Welding Federation – Qualification and Certification for more information.
