IIW International Congress in Poland Now also ONLINE

Cutting-Edge Welding Engineering - Modernity of the Future
Time: 13 – 15 October 2020, during the International Welding Fair ExpoWelding
Location: Sosnowiec, Poland

The three-day event, will be held in conjunction with the 62nd International Welding Conference and the International Welding Fair ExpoWelding at the same venue at Expo Silesia Exhibition Centre in Sosnowiec, Poland.

The event brings together specialists, researchers and users of welding engineering and allied technologies. The main objective of the Congress is to disseminate the know-how of the latest achievements in the field of various issues connected with welding technology, such as advanced welding, brazing and thermal cutting technologies, additive manufacturing, modelling, NDT and mechanical testing, weldability of steel and non-ferrous materials, structural integrity, consumables, equipment, automatisation and robotisation, environmental engineering.

Organiser of the Congress

Lukasiewicz – Instytut Spawalnictwa, Poland.

The Institute is a welding research centre and its scope of activities covers research, technology, training, certification and information within welding and allied technologies. It is a member of International Institute of Welding and European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting and functions as the Authorised Nominated Body of these organisations. In 2019 the Institute joined ?ukasiewicz Research Network.
