Chinese Welding Society

Chinese Welding Society (CWS) joined IIW in 1964, and it has been closely involved in IIW activities since then. In 1994 CWS organized the 47th IIW Annual Assembly for the first time in Beijing, in 2008, CWS organized the IIW Asian Pacific International Congress in Tianjin, and last year in Shanghai, CWS organized the IIW 2017. CANB, under the authorization of IIW, was established in January of 2000, providing welding certification for domestic students and employees.
